in 1735 Carl Linnaeus called as father of taxonomy gave a 2 kingdoms classification i.e Animal & Plant.

What is Taxonomy ?

It is ther branch of science which classify and naming the living organism.

In 1894 the Ernst Haeckel 1894 gave the classification of 3 kingdom. After that in 1969 Robert Whittaker gave the classification of 5 kingdom. At last Carl Worse 1997 gave the 6 kingdom classification.

3. Fungi
