Section 1: Basic Concepts :- 

1. What is Profit?

उत्तर: Profit वह रashi hai jo vyapar mein aayi hai, jab vyapar ki aay, vyapar ki lagat se adhik hoti hai.

2. What is Loss?

उत्तर: Loss वह rashi hai jo vyapar mein kami aati hai, jab vyapar ki aay, vyapar ki lagat se kam hoti hai.

3. What is Cost Price (CP)?

उत्तर: Cost Price wah rashi hai jo vyapar mein lagti hai.

4. What is Selling Price (SP)?

उत्तर: Selling Price wah rashi hai jo vyapar mein aati hai.

5. What is Profit Percentage?

उत्तर: Profit Percentage = (Profit / CP) × 100

Profit Formulas:

1. Profit = Selling Price (SP) - Cost Price (CP)

2. Profit Percentage = (Profit / CP) × 100

Loss Formulas:

1. Loss = Cost Price (CP) - Selling Price (SP)

2. Loss Percentage = (Loss / CP) × 100

Other Formulas:

1. Selling Price (SP) = Cost Price (CP) + Profit

2. Cost Price (CP) = Selling Price (SP) - Profit

3. Profit Percentage = (SP - CP) / CP × 100

4. Loss Percentage = (CP - SP) / CP × 100

Section 2: Calculating Profit and Loss :-

1. If CP = ₹100 and SP = ₹120, find Profit.

उत्तर: Profit = SP - CP = ₹120 - ₹100 = ₹20

2. If CP = ₹500 and SP = ₹450, find Loss.

उत्तर: Loss = CP - SP = ₹500 - ₹450 = ₹50

3. If CP = ₹200 and SP = ₹250, find Profit Percentage.

उत्तर: Profit Percentage = (₹50 / ₹200) × 100 = 25%

4. If CP = ₹150 and SP = ₹180, find Profit.

उत्तर: Profit = SP - CP = ₹180 - ₹150 = ₹30

5. If CP = ₹300 and SP = ₹270, find Loss Percentage.

उत्तर: Loss Percentage = (₹30 / ₹300) × 100 = 10%

Section 3: Profit and Loss Percentage :- 

1. If Profit Percentage is 20%, find SP if CP = ₹400.

उत्तर: SP = CP + (20% of CP) = ₹400 + ₹80 = ₹480

2. If Loss Percentage is 15%, find SP if CP = ₹600.

उत्तर: SP = CP - (15% of CP) = ₹600 - ₹90 = ₹510

3. If Profit Percentage is 25%, find CP if SP = ₹500.

उत्तर: CP = SP / (1 + 25%) = ₹500 / 1.25 = ₹400

4. If Loss Percentage is 10%, find CP if SP = ₹450.

उत्तर: CP = SP / (1 - 10%) = ₹450 / 0.9 = ₹500

1. If Profit Percentage is 30%, find SP if CP = ₹300.

उत्तर: SP = CP + (30% of CP) = ₹300 + ₹90 = ₹390

1. A shopkeeper buys a product for ₹100 and sells it for ₹120. What is his Profit Percentage?

उत्तर: Profit Percentage = (₹20 / ₹100) × 100 = 20%

2. A farmer sells his produce for ₹500, which costs him ₹450 to produce. What is his Profit?

उत्तर: Profit = ₹500 - ₹450 = ₹50

3. A trader buys a product for ₹200 and sells it for ₹180. What is his Loss Percentage?

उत्तर: Loss Percentage = (₹20 / ₹200) × 100 = 10%

4. A manufacturer sells his product for ₹300, which costs him ₹250 to produce. What is his Profit Percentage?

उत्तर: Profit Percentage = (₹50 / ₹250) × 100 = 20%

5. A wholesaler buys a product for ₹400 and sells it for ₹450. What is his Profit?

उत्तर: Profit = ₹450 - ₹400 = ₹50

1. If a product is sold at 20% discount on its marked price of ₹500, what is its Selling Price?

उत्तर: Selling Price = ₹500 - (20% of ₹500) = ₹500 - ₹100 = ₹400

2. If a shopkeeper makes a Profit of 25% on his Cost Price, what is his Selling Price if his Cost Price is ₹300?

उत्तर: Selling Price = ₹300 + (25% of ₹300) = ₹300 + ₹75 = ₹375

लाभ और हानि की गणना :- 

1. यदि लागत मूल्य ₹100 है और विक्रय मूल्य ₹120 है, तो लाभ क्या है?

उत्तर: लाभ = विक्रय मूल्य - लागत मूल्य = ₹120 - ₹100 = ₹20

2. यदि लागत मूल्य ₹500 है और विक्रय मूल्य ₹450 है, तो हानि क्या है?
