Himachal Pradesh schools will open from September 27, see what happened in the cabinet meeting




Himachal Pradesh government has decided to reopen schools in the state from September 27, 2021. The decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting held today. The meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in Shimla. Students of classes 10 and 12 are allowed to attend school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, while classes for class 9 and 11 will be opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Schools up to class 9th and 12th will open in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Class 10 and 12 students are allowed to attend school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, while classes 9 and 11 will be opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The COVID-19 positivity rate in Mandi district is 8.5 per cent, followed by Hamirpur at 4.4 per cent, Kangra at 2.6 per cent and Shimla at 2.3 per cent. These districts were the most affected during the first two waves of the pandemic, with the highest number of Covid cases and deaths.
