Titration Practical Viva Important Questions

Q1- What is primary standard solution and secondary standard solution ?

Ans_- Primary solution- Concentration change in accordance of time

Eg- hcl,oxalic acids

Secondary solution- Concentration do not change in accordance of time

Example=- NaOH

Q2- Phenopthalein ph range?

Ans - 8.3- 10

In accordance google- 8.5- 10

Internal indicater behave karte hai

It can be given in lab in liquid state

Q3- Meaning of concordant reading?

Ans- volume used by naoh give as a same reading

Q4- Kmno4 act as self indicater?

Ans- acts as oxoidising agentbehave in all medium

Q5- structure of phenopthalein

Q6- Give the reaction of naoh and oxalic acid?

Ans sod.oxalate

Q7 Why HCl act as primary and naoh act as secondary solution?

Ans - oxalic ,hcl, it means it behave as secondary solution Titration

Firstly we take all apparatus

  • Wash this apparatus carefully
  • Prepare to standarise0.1N hcl,oxalic acid
  • NaOH prepare with the help oh 0.1 N hcl solution
  • Naoh- burette
  • Oxalic ,hcl take a beker, conical flask
  • Phenolpthalein,methyl orange drop
  • Coloreless to pink
  • Yellow to red (3.4- 4.4)
  • Ph <7 acidic and PH.7 act as base
  • Phrange what does effect on temp
  • Ph inversely propotional to temp
  • At increase temp the molar conduictivity of molecule increases
  • Ph range decrease
